Denver Planning Board Sets April 21 Public Hearing on New Denver Zoning Code
The Denver Planning Board has confirmed the schedule for its April public hearing on Denver’s new zoning code and map, setting the stage for City Council review and adoption in May and June as planned.

The "Zoning Committee" is a standing committee of CHUN. The committee addresses Zoning and Land Use, Liquor License and Transportation issues that impact the CHUN neighborhoods. The committee addresses these issues by having parties of interest (developers, impacted neighbors, liquor license applicants, government officials, etc.) give presentations at scheduled meetings.
The committee also holds neighborhood assemblies to determine the desires of affected neighborhoods. Committee members also attend many public meetings to identify issues or to obtain information to keep the CHUN membership informed. The committee serves the CHUN Board of Delegates by making recommendations to the Board on actions to take on these issues.
The committee consists of a chairperson, or co-chair persons, representatives from each of the CHUN neighborhoods and other CHUN members. All committee meetings are open to the public. Citizens and businesses are encouraged to bring information, problems and issues to the attention of the Committee.
The committee normally meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. The time and place of the meetings are provided in the Urban Dweller. Contact the CHUN office (303-830-1651) to obtain more information or to refer issues to the Zoning Committee.
