Be Part of Capitol Hill History - Create the Logo or Poster for the 40th Anniversary of the People's Fair (June 4 & 5, 2011)!

In addition to our annual People’s Fair Image Contest, we will also conduct a Logo Contest to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Capitol Hill People’s Fair (June 4 and 5, 2011). Each year, artists from across the state are invited
to submit an original design to the Image Contest, from which the work is judged and an image is selected to represent the People’s Fair in our promotional campaign for that year. In 2011, both the logo itself and the image incorporated in our marketing campaign will be original works of art created by local artists.

CHUN Continues Historic Tears-McFarlane House Funding Drive
As the steward of the Tears-McFarlane House which CHUN utilizes as a community center, CHUN is fortunate to have received a grant from the State Historic Fund to repair and restore masonry, windows and ballustrades on the building. But in order to raise the required 25% match, we need the community's help.  Click here to donate to the Tears-McFarlane Fund, which will help to restore and maintain this historic asset, support the work of CHUN and the community center.  Donate to CHUN.
