Thank you to everyone that shopped at Metro Area Whole Foods Stores on Wednesday, April 4 and Supported Sustainability Efforts at four Denver Festivals!
The 2012 Capitol Hill People’s Fair announces its participation in a long-term environmental sustainability effort to “Green Up Denver.” With support from Whole Foods Market, the People’s Fair is taking steps this year to divert 40% of the waste from the festival from the landfill – and will launch a compost program in addition to the People’s Fair recycling efforts. On Wednesday, April 4, shop at any of the five Denver-metro WHOLE FOODS MARKET locations, and 5 percent of all net sales will go toward the initiative. The People’s Fair is looking for dedicated volunteers to join the People's Fair green team on June 2 & 3, 2012.

CHUN Continues Historic Tears-McFarlane House Funding Drive As the steward of the Tears-McFarlane House which CHUN utilizes as a community center, CHUN is fortunate to have received a grant from the State Historic Fund to repair and restore masonry, windows and ballustrades on the building. But in order to raise the required 25% match, we need the community's help.
