A Message from the CHUN Interim Executive Director
I am pleased to let you know that as of August 1, I will assume the role of Interim Executive Director. Former Executive Director Drew O’Connor has moved on to accept a position with a new organization called The Civic Canopy. I’d like to personally thank him for his commitment to CHUN and wish him the best of luck. In my interim role, I look forward to working with the CHUN Board of Delegates, staff and volunteers to continue the important work that CHUN has provided to Capitol Hill for nearly four decades. While we sometimes slow down in the summer, I can assure you that there are a myriad of issues, projects and “goings on” that I will be delving into with great enthusiasm and vigor. If I can do anything for you please don’t hesitate to call or email me. I look forward to working with you.

CHUN Continues Historic Tears-McFarlane House Funding Drive
As the steward of the Tears-McFarlane House which CHUN utilizes as a community center, CHUN is fortunate to have received a grant from the State Historic Fund to repair and restore masonry, windows and ballustrades on the building. But in order to raise the required 25% match, we need the community's help.
